National Perinatal Mental Health Guideline
The National Perinatal Mental Health Guideline was reviewed and updated in 2017, and a Clinical Practice Guideline was subsequently developed.
The scope of the National Guideline includes recommendations for screening, assessment, prevention, and treatment for perinatal related mental health disorders. The purpose of the Guideline is to support health professionals in providing evidence-based care. It also offers referral and care pathways.
All of Gidget Foundation Australia’s treatment services are provided in accordance with the National Guideline.
